Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia Killian Road

Easy to work with staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Not bad for one or a couple nights if you're passing through or need a good place to stay near columbia. Could use an upgrade on the TV's tho. All they have is cable.

Killian is a really good place to stop. Tons of restaurants, etc. The young man who checked me in is incredibly nice! He's been there awhile, so you know the hotel is run well. Good work....see you again.

The whole staff are phenomenol from the front desk personnel to housekeeping to the folks running the breakfast area! I can't say enough good about the hospitality at this hotel! The rooms for sure need some updating but other then that very very pleased with our stay here! Breakfast was GREAT. We stayed here for 3 nights for our son's basic training graduation from Fort Jackson, South Carolina and if we are ever in the area again this will be our hotel pick for sure. Thank you everyone at Hampton Inn and suites!!

Stayed here for one night during our travels heading north. First a shoutout to Solomon at the front desk. He was by far one of the most friendliest and professional people we had the pleasure to meet.. I wish everyone had his kindness and enthusiasm.. He made our stay fantastic! The rooms are clean and updated, beds comfortable! Was exactly what you would look for in a hotel stay!

I recently stayed here during one of the hardest weeks of my life. My mother unexpectedly passed away on Nov. 3rd and I had to travel to Columbia to be with my family. Originally I had planned to stay with my Brother and Sister, who my mom lived with. Walking back into their home I quickly realized that it was just too emotional for me to be there. The next morning I reached out to this property, as it was near my family, to see if they had rooms and thankfully they did! From the moment I spoke with Angela, the GM, I knew I had made the right choice. She was kind, compassionate, and went well above and beyond to make sure the room was ready when I arrived. The entire team was welcoming, professional and genuinely caring. The team made sure to greet me and other guests as we came and went and made me feel like more than just another guest. As someone who spent 15 years working in hotels, many of those years managing Hamptons myself, I can say with confidence that this team truly embodies the spirit of the brand. My room was spotless, comfortable, and peaceful, which was exactly what I needed. Breakfast both mornings exceeded my expectations. The team kept everything fresh and well-stocked, the tables were spotless, and I even saw them helping families juggling kids and plates. That’s the kind of thoughtful service that defines Hamptonality. In a difficult time, this hotel became a place of comfort and calm. I can’t thank Angela and her team enough for their warmth and professionalism. They reminded me why I loved this brand so much—and why it continues to stand out.

I came here as a last minute option in an ice storm. My mom was not feeling well, I had just left my home because my heat was broken, and I felt absolutely downhearted. The staff took amazing care of us. Sent plenty of water and ginger ale to my mom, even extra blankets fresh out the dryer when she was freezing. Every single staff member was friendly, kind, and compassionate! Traveling is hard for me, this is the first place I stayed that made me feel as comfortable as I did in my own home. Even the text messages from the GM checking to make sure our stay was going well. It was quite the impressive stay! I'll recommend it to anybody for any reason! Thank you all so much for taking such great care of us; hospitality at its finest!

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn Columbia, SC, Killian Road on Sunday, December 28. It was the halfway point on our long drive home from Florida to Ohio. We were three hours into the drive before I realized that I had probably left my iPad in our hotel room. I called the front desk of the hotel, and staff member Katrina picked up. When I inquired whether an iPad had been found, she said that the cleaning staff had not been in the room yet but she would immediately go up herself and check for it in the room. Not long later, she called back and said that she had found the iPad - and made me feel better by saying that it really blended in with the top of the desk where I had left it :). I explained that we were already three hours away and unable to return to the hotel and asked if there was any way that it could be shipped back to me. She said that she would contact her manager and get back to me. In short order, I got another call with the affirmation that yes, it could be shipped back and she would personally be taking it to a UPS location to get it in the mail today. After taking my credit card information she said that she could email the tracking number to me to ensure its arrival. What a relief, and what a gem Katrina is! Please let her know how much I appreciated her willingness to go above and beyond to get the iPad back to me. I will be sharing the story widely as evidence that there are still good people in the world. The iPad arrived yesterday, securely packaged and for less money than a lunch out. Happy holidays to all of at the Hampton Inn Columbia Killian Road! P.S. I did not get their names, but the staff helping with breakfast this morning (Dec. 29) were also very friendly and helpful. That makes such a difference when traveling and was a great way to start the day. Thanks to all!!

I recently stayed here while my house was having repairs due to a major water pipe issue that caused extensive water damage to a large area of the downstairs of my home. Being displaced from my home was already overwhelming for me, but I was worried sick about how my 2 dogs would do having never stayed away from their home. For the month that we stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton on Killian Road we never felt like anything but family. I told them upon check-in my situation & they accommodated us above and beyond my expectations. We were given a room on the 1st floor that was right by the courtyard door for easy access to take the dogs out! We had to extend our stay frequently since we weren’t sure when we would be able to go home, but everyone at the front desk was always understanding and always seemed happy to see us stay a little longer. The housekeeping staff was amazing! They made sure to check on us at least every other day (even with our little sign up on the door) when they would see us out walking the dogs- just to make sure we had everything we needed or to see if they could go in and leave us towels while we were outside with the dogs. :) The front desk staff for both day and night shift were fabulous! Alex was always happy to help us with anything we needed day or night. I don’t know the gentleman’s name who worked most nights, but I found it comforting that if I got up to take the dogs out in the middle of the night that he always seemed to be close by the front window/doors keeping an eye on us and making sure we got back inside safely. During our stay, if it was raining or snowing (Yes! We had about 6 inches of snow for a couple of days while we were here!), the staff would tell us to park under the front covered parking area since they knew we had the dogs! I thought this was very thoughtful! :) While happy to get to return home, I hated to see our stay come to an end. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this hotel and the staff. I would give this hotel 10/10 stars everyday. It’s the little things that truly make a difference. I will recommend the Hampton Inn by Hilton on Killian Road to anyone I am given the opportunity. (And like Alex said… we don’t have to be displaced to come back to visit. That they would love to have us come back for a little staycation in town sometime! :) ) Thank you guys so much for making us feel safe, comfortable, and for making a hard situation a lot easier for us! :) :)
